    We had a relatively small area of water damage and mold to a ceiling in a master bedroom and adjacent laundry room. It was great working with EFG. Gene treated us as though our small problem was an expansive remediation. He made us feel we were a top priority project. Gene worked with and received approval from our insurance adjuster. The crew worked diligently and with earnest, showing us the work completed throughout the repair. The preparation, ceiling removal, restoration, and cleanup was completed in approximately two days. The rapid completion time astonished us. The finished work was of top quality and we are completely satisfied with the outcome. We would highly recommend EFG and the crew assigned to our repairs.     Working with Gene at EFG was phenomenal! We moved into our house just about 2 years ago and found some issues that needed mold remediation just last month. Gene was our first recommendation, and call, and ended up being our guy! His demeanor and presence was confident. Price wise he was incredible as well! During our initial walk through for an estimate he took the time to let us ask any questions we might have, and his explanations were clear and concise. Contacting him was easy and he was incredibly responsive. After booking his services, the professionalism continued. He showed up on time at sight the first day of our project, which I might add was scheduled at our convenience! Overall the company was professional and efficient.     Dealing with the aftermath of a burst pipe was nightmarish. But as soon as I called Gene Gass I knew I was in good hands. His team did thorough job pulling up the ruined carpeting, sanding and treating the wood floor, setting up a series of powerful fans to ensure all moisture was gone.     Gene Gass performed a mold remediation in the basement of our home in November 2021. Gene did an excellent job, and his work easily passed inspection by a certified inspector. There are many reasons that I can recommend Gene to you: --his price was extremely fair and competitive; --his work was excellent—and it included a part of the basement that was not easily accessible; --he was able to fit this job into his schedule quickly, which was urgent given that we have a tight timeline to close on the sale of our home; --he was able to give me a free estimate even before the mold inspector had sent me his initial report—again, very important given our tight timeline; --he always got back to me right away with any questions I had; --he is very honest, personable, professional, and true to his word.     I had a kitchen leak that caused a big mold problem between my kitchen floor and basement ceiling so I was referred to Gene Gass of EFG Cleaning & Restoration. A kitchen leak left my basement ceiling panels wet. When I removed them, I found black mold, as well as another questionable substance that was also confirmed to be mold. The situation was assessed and additional mold was found throughout the basement and in the boiler room. After inquiring with other mold remediation services about work that needed to be done, and feeling very unsatisfied with costs, procedures and responsiveness, I was finally referred to EFG Cleaning & Restoration and was told that Gene would be "the best guy for the job." After using his services, I couldn't agree more. Gene was extremely courteous from the very beginning. He promptly came to assess the situation and provided me with the specific details of the required work. He thoroughly explained about the newly specialized equipment that he uses to treat and guarantee the mold removal and disinfection of the entire area. Gene is not only an expert in his field but he is warm and friendly toward his clients. He offered to contact the insurance company to explain our mold matter. He relieved me of a lot of stress and made the process very easy for me. Gene sealed off the contaminated area and cleaned up after he was finished without any issues. He removed the affected drywall and cleaned the ceiling panels. The mist solution was applied throughout the basement and all of the affected areas were decontaminated.     Getting a house ready for sale is stressful enough and when mold is found and has to be remediated, it adds to the stress.     I am very impressed with the quality of the product and customer service provided to me by EFG Cleaning and Restoration. Customer service is top notch all the way through the process. If you're looking for reliable, knowledgeable and accommodating experts when you suspect there may be mold you should make EFG Cleaning and Restoration your first stop. Communication was A+. I reached out to them directly via phone and had received a response within minutes. A quote was provided immediately and all following questions were promptly responded to. Getting a time and date that could work for my schedule was easy as they make themselves available quickly and even offer weekend visits. The site visit was scheduled and they followed up with me a few hours before confirming that they'd arrive a few minutes early and to check if that was ok. Yes, not late- but EARLY. A pretty rare experience for any service provider. The actual testing was thorough and easy. From a visual inspection and moisture testing tool to the high-tech inspection tool that sees moisture and heat through walls He specifically sampled each area that I was concerned about and was done in about 25 minutes. I was told that lab results and analysis could take a few days. When results came back work was done in a very proficient way eliminating all water damage causing the mold.     I can't say enough about how great this company is. Gene put up with numerous emails and texts because the mold remediation had to be done in the basement of a house that I was purchasing, so I was in the middle with my dual agent, and the Seller. I have dogs, so couldn't move in when mold had reached the back of the door into the basement. There was no ventilation. No basement Bilco door. No windows.
